Founded in 1979, Saudi Can Co., Ltd is now owned by Haji
Abdullah Alireza & Co., Ltd and Abdullah Hashim Co., Ltd.
Initially the company started with the manufacture of
three-piece printed tin cans for the lube oil industry in
the Kingdom. In recent years, substantial investment in the
state of the art machinery and equipment has enabled it to
develop into a fully diversified packaging company. Today,
Saudi Can is the leading supplier of tin, plastic and
composite containers to all major lube oil marketers in the
Kingdom. Its product range also includes tin cans for food
products, aerosol cans for insecticides and air fresheners,
plastic containers for fruit juices, cooking oil, as well as
various other household products and multilayer coextruded
containers for agrochemicals. Located in phase III of
Jeddah's Industrial Zone, its manufacturing plant is one of
the most modern, self-contained specialty packaging plants
in the Middle East.
The year 2006, saw the commissioning of Saudi Can's
second plant located in Yanbu Al-Sinaiyah's Light Industrial
Park. The Yanbu facility is a purpose built plant
specifically designed for the manufacture of plastic
containers catering for the growing demand in the market for
these types of products. Saudi Can is a ISO 9002
certified company which continues to invest in new equipment
and facilities to ensure that products produced consistently
fulfill customers' specifications. It also exports its
products to many countries in the Middle East and Africa. |
